Artificial Turf & Concrete FAQs in Hemet
How long does artificial turf last?+
Premium artificial turf installed by Vision typically lasts 15-20 years with proper care. We use high-quality, USA-made turf with UV stabilization that prevents fading in the Southern California sun.
Does artificial turf get hot in the summer?+
Artificial turf can get warmer than natural grass on hot days, but modern turf technology has significantly reduced heat retention. We can recommend turf products with cooling infill for areas that receive direct afternoon sun.
Can I install artificial turf over my existing concrete?+
Yes, artificial turf can be installed over concrete with proper padding and drainage preparation. This is a great option for converting concrete patios into more comfortable outdoor spaces.
Will stamped concrete crack?+
All concrete has the potential to crack, but we minimize this with proper base preparation, reinforcement (rebar or fiber mesh), and control joints. Our installation techniques are designed to reduce cracking, and we seal every project for added durability.
